About the competition

ACM SRC is a competition of student research papers. It gives students the oportunity to present results of their research in the form of academic conference. The competition comprises two rounds and a final.

The first round takes part on our faculty under the name IIT.SRC. Students of all studying levels enter the competition by posting a short academic paper in english language. Papers chosen by the committee are then discussed in the form of poster presentation. The best papers enter the second round.

In the second round the semi-finalists present their work in front of academic committee in the form of a slide-show. Authors of the three top papers are honoured with valuable prizes and pass on the final round. The second round usually takse place in Czech Republic.

In the final round papers are judged by international academic committee. The winners are then invited to the yearly ACM banquet where they accept their prizes.
